Another Buggy Story

Kiss buggyAbout 4 months ago, after the kids started hitting each other whenever they saw a Beetle (which they called "buggy"), we changed the game to "kiss buggy" to encourage fun loving relationships. It is a lot of fun to look for buggies and send kisses to each other. The game has reached a point where we send kisses to each other even when we see a car looking remotely like a buggy.

It is funny how things evolve. Last week, I drove with a friend of ours in his car and I saw a buggy - a real buggy, not a Toyota or any buggy-like car, but a beautiful yellow buggy. I did not think he would understand, so I just smiled to myself and said nothing.

This week, on the way to one of my clients, I saw a red old buggy. There was no one with me in the car, so I said to myself "Kiss buggy" and smiled, although there was no one there to kiss.

I felt a bit strange.

Yesterday, when I came to pick up my 20-year-old daughter from the bus station, she said to me, "I saw a buggy today on the way to the post office".

"And what did you do?" I asked her.

"I said to myself 'Kiss buggy' and felt very strange talking to myself, because there was not one there to kiss", she said.

I felt normal again.
