I think you are right, it is not easy for parents to adjust to new technologies and lifestyle. When I think about my parents, they said the same thing 30 years ago. They thought the music we listen was too loud, the clothes we were wearing were too exposed, the hair style.. It makes me think that parents needs to adjust, period. and it does not matter when, parenting is a "job" requires lots of adjustment skills. I think you are right, it is not easy for parents to adjust to new technologies and lifestyle.
When I think about my parents, they said the same thing 30 years ago. They thought the music we listen was too loud, the clothes we were wearing were too exposed, the hair style..
It makes me think that parents needs to adjust, period. and it does not matter when, parenting is a "job" requires lots of adjustment skills.

I hope parents coming here may find tools to develop such skills.

As kids are growing they’ll adopt their own thinking and way to implement idea and most parents don’t like that their kid is wasting time in watching t.v too much or not doing preparation of examination and so many things . Understanding growing child is very difficult as time & technologies are changing so parents have to cope up with time and situation for avoiding conflicts between them.
