My dad was the soft parent and mum was the stricter.
Funny how we have some stereotypical views on male female parenting.

Mothers are very special to children. Because it is with the mothers that children get their tender side.

Father are special too. But mostly, they are all about toughness.

But when I remember my mother, I remember about caring, love, self sacrifice.

And yes it true. Challenges in life usual reveals the kind of person we really are.
