Yes, it is an addiction but cannot be compared with addictions like drugs or other substance. I am glad it helped your son. I am sure it made a huge difference. I would recommend parents to take over some control ( responsibility) over their parenting so they won't have to reach a point that they have to use an external source to treat the problem. I have a son that went to a RT program and had this therapy. And now I saw the changes that they give to my son. Kids are fun of watching tv there are things also that they can learn with it but when watching tv is more than usual it is already an addiction.
