I think there is a whole discussion about truth that will take a long time to to cover. I am not sure there is an ultimate truth that we need to find but I am sure there is an internal truth we must seek. With parenting, since we do not spend the whole time with our kids and we "give" them to other to educate or care for them, we must trust that they will tell us what is happening with them and not hide from us information they think is valuable. But I definitely think telling the mother about the little girl is FAR more important. If she suffers for the rest of her life... I think the price is far heaver! Great Story!!
