The reasons people develop law self esteem depends on their belief system. The real question is how do people form a belief system of a person with law self esteem.
They both go hand in hand. If you believe you are not good, a failure, unable, small, helpless and the list is huge it will immediately translate to law self esteem.

We form beliefs from eduction, experience, media, events around us and our creative thinking.
Unfortunately, most of those beliefs we adopt without filters and in a very early age when we highly influenced by the people who are very close to us. The rough formula is confident parents raise confident kids  and law self esteem parents raise law self esteem kids.
If you read that post you will discover that many of the things we hear around us help us define what we call &quot; Identity&quot; and most of our identity is formed by external influences. Again, we form identity when we are really young and therefore subject to what the people around us think, say, or do.
I recommend reading the series from chapter 1. It has lots of information about self esteem, reasons and solutions.
