I agree that it is not really magic and our psychological state had a huge effect on our reality.
I think "The law of attraction" is not really a magnet, I believe it is a metaphor. I am a great believer of the power of the self-fulfilling prophecy. I think this is the real meaning of attraction.

I like the idea of the tuning fork though I am not sure everyone can relate to it as easy as the magnet. Still both are metaphors. All laws are just explanations for people to find strength and power. If "Law of resonance" makes more sense to you, that is cool. We only adopt the ideas that relate that what we think, feel and believe anyway.
By the way Bob, I went to your website, I love what you are doing. We share so many ideas. It is wonderful.

You are right. I know so many people that say they do not have time to mediate. The turth is that if they do not think they have time, they won't have time.

I went to your website and listened to some of the music and loved it. It was great, I really loved the music.

I'll buy some and try them in the car, while taking the kids to school. I have more than 6 minutes for that.

Single parents don't have time to sit and meditate. Much of The Secret and what spiritual guru's tell us about visualization involve elaborate time consuming rituals. I have created a quick simple alternative that people can do driving to work or while getting ready for work. Something that might crack the door to enlightenment enough that they can catch a breath and change their lives.

I am a composer and I have written a number of music tracks based around positive visualization. I wrote them for myself to change my own life and get myself and my family out of the negative hole we were stuck in.

My visualizations are VERY different from the regular wind chimes and flutes they contain rock guitar and dance tracks and they are all short 3 – 6 mins and to the point.

I don't know about you but I don’t have time to meditate for an hour a day but I can play 3 tracks every morning while I get ready for work. Many of my tracks are great to exercise to with up tempo beats.

Transformation and creation come from quality visualization which in turn comes from repetition. Just like physical exercise reps build muscle in this case reps bring change.

Mental Perception

I know from my own experiences over many years that there's a correlation between what we think about and what happens to us in our lives. I just don't believe that it works in the manner of a magnetic "attraction". Or that there has to necessarily always be a metaphysical explanation. I think in this particular case the result was purely psychological.

I recall that after Rhonda Byrne's movie The Secret was released (March 2006?), one of the producers created an online forum for people to discuss the movie and the 'Law of Attraction' (it was called Powerful Intentions, probably it's still there). The forum's logo wasn't a magnet, as I would have expected, it was a tuning fork.

I think, as an explanation for what might be happening in the metaphysical world, a 'Law of Resonance' makes more sense. To me, that is.
